Local, National and International Partnerships
East City Wesleyan is a Church in the network of Wesleyan Methodist Churches around New Zealand, in partnership with each other for the purpose of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Locally we are affiliated with the Manukau East Christian Leaders Network (of which Rev Richard Waugh served as a previous Chairman). We are a covenant Church with Habitat for Humanity (the first Church in New Zealand to do this) and are active supporters of the Auckland Emmaus Community with many of our ECW family having experienced the blessings of The Walk to Emmaus retreats (the Wesleyan Methodist Church of New Zealand is the sponsoring denomination of the Emmaus movement in New Zealand).

ECW is a fully committed member of Vision Network New Zealand (Rev Richard Waugh is the Council Chairman)

Our international links to the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Australia, Global Partners (Wesleyan Missions) and The Wesleyan Church of North America are a special source of encouragement. ECW's partner Church is Kentwood Community Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan (part of the West Michigan District). KCC is a large contemporary Church passionate about evangelism and mission.
